A social educational organization leading the reduction of social and educational gaps, educational excellence and social mobility via: Programs in the scientific and technological fields, youth leadership in the periphery with an emphasis on sciences and the design of STEM activity centers.
// Project Description
'Sulamot' seeks to systematically promote and improve the fields of science and technology education in the education systems in the partnership localities, while emphasizing the implementation of the STEM concept (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in elementary schools. In the six year of the program, the main components are:
1. A highlight STEM event
2. Youth scientific leadership
3. Technical support for teachers using STEM learning environments
4. Robotics (by Micro bit).
// Project Goals
Strengthening, developing and implementing a multidisciplinary teaching- learning approach with an emphasis on pedagogies from the world of STEM. The Focus is on elementary schools and regional community with the aim of promoting social leadership and equal opportunities in Kiryat Gat, Lachish and Shair.
// Target Population
Target population: teachers and elementary students, parents and community. 24 elementary schools in 3 local authorities. About 500 teaching staff and 7000 students. Circles of influence: formal and informal education, community, teachers and students.
