The Shahar Center is a regional treatment center for children and teenagers up to the age of 18 who are dealing with trauma due to sexual abuse. The center is run by the Yachdav association which operates dozens of treatment centers nationwide whose main goal is to reduce social gaps for a marginalized and disadvantaged population.

// Project Description

A regional therapeutic center for children and adolescents (up to the age of 18 ) who are coping with trauma due to sexual abuse. The center provides a therapeutic response using innovative trauma-focused therapeutic methods. The treatment focuses on processing the sexual trauma, understanding how it manifests in the child’s life, and reducing post-traumatic symptoms. The center works in a multidisciplinary approach that combines consulting, guiding, supporting, developing safety programs and creating a work plan tailored for each child.

3. children exhibiting inappropriate and/or harmful sexual behavior.
