// About the Organization

“Benetivey Udi” was established in 1994. The organization works to narrow social and gender gaps, advance unity among Jewish masorati, religious and secular populations and increase the resilience of Israeli society.

// Project Description

Nitzanim Junior - a program for 8th-9th grade students that includes an introduction and improving the logic and algorithmics that form the basis for advanced programming. Experience in writing code in Python.

Nitzanim Pro – for 10th – 12th-grade students: (with at least 4 units math, 5 units English) 

First-year- Python basics and programming (PBL) 

Second year  – In-depth Python, object-oriented and advanced programming (computer game development) 

Third Year – AI, advanced software development along with personal mentoring and counseling in preparation for significant service in the IDF.

// Project Goals

goals of the project: To increase the representation of the periphery in the IDF tech units and high-tech industry. One of the goals is to increase the number of participants to 45 in each cohort. To have at least 175 teens in the Nitzanim Junior program, and to have at least 50% of Nitzanim Pro’s graduates accepted to IDF tech units.

// Target Population

 Direct target population consists of 220 teens, 8th-10th graders who will start the program in 2024 (studying 4 units Math, 5 units English) who passed the project’s screening process. These boys and girls will serve as role models to dozens of their friends and colleagues.
