// Project Description
The program was developed over a decade ago and operates today in more than 30 peripheral schools. To effectively address the challenges faced by girls, the program operates a long-term process, from the eighth grade till the twelfth grade, and includes math reinforcement, personal and gender empowerment workshops, exposure to the world of hi-tech, meeting female role models, preparation for a meaningful military/national service, enrichment, and more. Our program partners include dozens of leading tech companies such as-Paypal, Albeit, Dell and Teva.
// Project Goals
Promoting STEM education for girls in the periphery. Increasing the number of girls graduating with a diploma that will enable academic studies. Providing knowledge and opportunities for these girls. Empowering, building self-confidence, self-image and belief in their abilities and aspirations.
// Target Population
Target population: 500 girls between the ages 14-18 from Kiryat Gat, with potential to succeed in STEM. The program also impacts thousands of other students and teachers in the city by instilling values of equality, raising awareness of women's issues, etc.
