// About the Organization

Youth Futures operates in 49 communities across Israel, supporting at-risk families and children through its holistic three-year program of mentorship providing security, tools and opportunities for growth.

// Project Description

Youth Future opened a family therapy unit station, providing professional therapy for families in crisis situations. Each family that has been referred to the program, goes through a screening process. Once approved, the family receives a tailor-made therapy plan including 15-25 private counseling sessions by a professional social worker as well as a mentor who accompanies the family. The social worker guides the mentors of each family continuously throughout the process, and conducts group training sessions as well.

// Project Goals

Family Space strives to provide quality psychological therapy treatment for at-risk families participating in the Youth Futures program. Our goal is to equip the families with coping mechanisms, strengthen their resilience, enhance relationships, reduce risk factors and improve overall family functioning.

// Target Population

Youth Futures supports 206 at-risk families in Kiryat Gat, some of whom require intensive therapy beyond the Mentors' abilities . Family Space serves approximately 15 such families annually, impacting them, their extended families, and the community.
