// About the Organization

SHEKEL provides community integration services to people with disabilities. These services include community housing, employment, culture and leisure, care, counseling and accessibility.

// Project Description

The project provides independent housing, employment, leisure activities, sports and enrichment classes, that take place in Kibbutz Ein Tzurim and Masu'ot Yitzhak for about 12 to 15 special-needs participants.

// Project Goals

The goals and purpose of the project include integration, interaction, and independence for high functioning, special-needs residents within the Shafir Region. The project will strengthen the social, economic, and community integration level of the participants.

// Target Population

 12-15 men and women with high-functioning disabilities living independently in SHEKEL-run apartments in the Shafir Region. Approximately 200 Shafir residents and 50 family members will benefit from their advanced integration.
