// About the Organization
The Ramon Foundation leads educational programs that operate in the spirit of the Ramon family in order to develop values ​​and abilities that will help each child realize their dreams using the worlds of aviation and space as inspiration.
// Project Description
A program for middle school students that allows them to compete for the opportunity to send an experiment to the ISS (International Space Station). The program is considered one of the most advanced space education programs in the world. The process is based on research and the experiments are accompanied by space experts from academia and industry, who assist the students in testing the programming. The chosen experiment is submitted and once it returns with results from the ISS, students analyze the results, and the research work is then published.
// Project Goals
The goals of the project are to maximize the personal potential of each student, expose the students to the world of space, provide 21st century skills, such as methodology for developing emotional skills and solving problems from a scientific-engineering angle.
// Target Population
Students in middle school between grades 7-9. Number of classes: 4, Number of beneficiaries: 100 on average (25 students per class), Indirect effect: the entire school and the children's families
